Peace First is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people around the world to become powerful peacemakers. With over twenty years of experience working with young people, Peace First knows that youth can be powerful problem-solvers if they are called and prepared to do so.

Purpose was tasked with designing and running a Design Sprint Workshop in London over 3 days with 2 days of internal work and execution (a total of 5 days of work). Our objective was to assemble a coalition of youth engagement organizations in the U.K. to activate young people to support courage, compassion, and collaboration.

We designed a campaign that gives young people in the U.K. access to the Peace First platform providing users creative ways to make the most of their energy. We built a campaign strategy that identified our audience and the motivators that will move them to action. We designed creative tactics that generate leads for the campaign while providing powerful ways for them to be involved now. We placed users at the center of the campaign, showing them as powerful actors in their communities, leaving young people with feeling that they can build a better world. 
The youth sector in the UK will launch “The Youthnited Kingdom”. The Youthnited Kingdom is our community — here together we become a force for change. 

Bringing together young people from different backgrounds, this campaign will offer a platform for youth to talk about the issues facing their communities and initiate projects that help solve problems through the Peace First Platform.

The Youthnited Kingdom will reach out to our audience through offline and online means. After attending an event or interacting digitally, young people will be encouraged to join the online community of ‘Youthnites’—a space to discuss change and submit project ideas on how to make solutions. Projects will be supported through grants and mentoring by the campaign, and the best projects will be amplified across the UK media to inspire other to join.
