For Valentine’s Day, we wanted to expand on the idea of revenge giving and propose the idea of revenge donating. Did your ex hate cats? Donate to a cat shelter in their honor. Or maybe also your valentine or crush? Do they like football? Donate to a pee wee team in their honor.
How can GoFundMe broaden the types of fundraisers we're known for, create new occasions to give, and show up in surprising ways—by running OOH digital billboards in the one and only, Las Vegas, a city with the highest number of wedding chapels and churches per capita to celebrate these motivations.
This campaign also came to life on social, various other paid media spots and on our landing page where users can find their Valentine’s Day fundraiser match.
