GoFundMe Year in Help
2022

Each year, GoFundMe releases it's annual report that reflects our community’s impact in advancing our mission of helping people help each other. This year, we designed a new way to tell the stories of help that happened on our platform. 

Across all of our end of year work, we wanted to show donors how their donations were part of a powerful movement of help that makes things better for us all. This year’s page, we led with story to hero the help and connection happening on GoFundMe. Instead of organizing the content based on month, as we’ve done in prior reports, we instead curated and structured the report in a more editorial way—based on themes of commonality and shared interest. We wanted to show people in different places around the world— all on GoFundMe, fundraising for good in similar ways. 

In this year’s report, we designed the page to include interactive editorials for viewers to read an individual’s story. Each section concludes with a relevant story of help and links back to the individual’s fundraiser so readers can donate as they are so moved.
