Message From an Unknown Chinese Mother Xinran + What to Expect When You're ExpectingAn autobiographical take on this assignment, illustrating the story of my adoption. Reading Message From an Unknown Chinese Mother helped me begin to understand who my mysterious and unknown biological mother was and is. The key unlocks a lock I placed on What to Expect When You're Expecting, representing my birth mother's pregnancy story I will never know.
